I know someone will get mad at my choices for this but lets give it a go!
- AR-15 (any variant)
- Glock (any 9mm variant)
- Remington 870 (been around longer than the Mossberg 500)
- M&P Sport 15-22
- Mosin-Nagant (used to be a cheap bolt action)
- Remington model 700 (all variants)
- Hi point Pistols (cheap, usually used as a throwaway)
- Any 10-22 (Ruger is the most popular)
- Savage Renegauge Field (or any semi-automatic hunting shotgun)
- 1911 (most purchased is Springfield but others are also popular)
In the USA, of course! Stun guns are perfectly legal to buy in the states and no background check is needed depending on the state in which you live in. Before you decide to buy one, you must first look up the legal information needed and also how they work. Stun guns do not work like the movies!! They do not knock someone out instantly and they are not the best nonlethal options. Stuns guns have been know to kill people who have heart conditions or are elderly. Pepper spray/bear mace is the better option assuming you don’t live in a windy city like Chicago. They are still effective in windy cities but you might catch some of the spray if the wind is going in the wrong direction.
YES, all guns are deadly. It all comes down to shot placement and the power of the gun. There are air guns that can be bought that are designed to take out medium to large game. Like a boars or bears. Even the red rider you get for Christmas will do more than shoot out your eye depending on the distance in which you shoot at. All guns are deadly and should be treated with respect to avoid any negligent discharges.
Honestly don’t know why I am answering this question but hey lets give it a go.
If you are more into nerf than real guns I am not judging but I am confused. The last time I had a nerf gun I was 6 and got in trouble because I would always shoot at cars driving by. From the my very limited knowledge I would have to say is the Nerf Elite 2.0 commander RD-6. I would give some more details but again the last time I used a nerf gun I was 6 years old.
Short answer: Any semi/automatic firearm that is not properly cleaned and maintained.
Long answer: Semi/automatic are more prone to jams due to the fact that they have more moving parts. The more moving parts the better chances of failure. Revolvers do have a reputation to not jam but when heavily used the timing of the gun (the rotation of the cylinder leading to the firing of the gun) can be off causing catastrophic failure that might result in injury.
A very controversial question in gun communities across the world. When it comes the to the USA, the most purchased pistol of all time is the Glock 19. Being the first striker fired handgun ever Americans wanted them and they showed this. Other notable popular handguns are the M&P9, there are multiple versions of this handgun but they are all very similar and we will group them all together for this question. The reason why this is popular due to the fact that is also a striker fired handgun but with a much cheaper price tag compared to the Glock.
Short answer: What ever you have the most range time with.
This is consistently debated about what is the best. It really comes down to what you are the most comfortable with and the setup of your house. Shotguns has always been the GOAT when it comes to home defense. No right minded person will enter a room if they hear a shotgun action on the other side of the door. AR-15 are also very popular when it comes to home defense for women. The AR-15 is lighter and the recoil is much more controllable for people that cannot handle a 12 gauge shotgun. Pistols are also heavily used but since a person cannot have 3 points of contact with the gun accuracy will suffer when the adrenaline dump of the situation hits.
There is no short answer for this. The term gun becomes a little blurry when you are talking about the biggest. You can claim a howitzer is a gun but that is not really man portable and needs a team to be able to shoot it. For this definition we will say any “Gun” that is man portable and does not require more than one person to operate and transport. The Anzio 20mm bolt action rifle will be the winner here. It is technically an anti-material rifle meaning that it is meant to take out trucks and armored vehicles. To help convey the power of the Anzio, in the rules of war an anti-material rifle can not be used on individuals only armored targets (trucks) or on buildings and fortifications.
